Going deeper in the mundane to find the extraordinary.

Welcome to my nexus of threads that weave through reality. Each myth concentrates on an aspect of reality that we all get entangled within. Pick your myth and perhaps you will see it from a different angle, find out its origin, or what virtue it brings.

Myths are not only a widely held but false belief or idea. They are stories with deep meanings and levels of an ocean that constantly flows and churns, carrying truth to the far reaches of God’s creatures.

Unity With God

Meditation with God
I entered my boring room to meditate with joy. Joy with what was about to happen, now that I understood what happens. I stood in the centre of the room and closed my eyes, beginning the process of Focus.

I entered into my own mind. Slowed my breathing and voiding my thoughts. I filled my lungs, then vacated them. I began to think about where my body was in this world; this room, this house, this country, this world. The galaxies unfolded and my mind’s eye zoomed through the created world.

Pink, purple, and Persian blue; smoke, smug, and soot all flash before my mind. The scene halted on one image, it was full of detail but there was only one thing to look at. The spirit of God hovered before me.

My spirit flashed with fear. All the sins I have committed ran like an advertisement, like speed reading that I could fully comprehend. The detailed background shifted to a red swirling vortex as I felt the hatred from the Father.

Then the fear vanished as fast as it came and the love from God rushed towards me like cooling water, then after the initial shock, it warmed. It wrapped around me like a snake fixing to constrict me. But it gave no harm; it protected me, welcoming me to where I belonged. This is what I was here for. Unity.

The unity between the Redeemer and the redeemed. It was always a disunity I felt, but in this strange state; the state of redeemed and yet sinner still, there was a unity never thought of before.

It brings me to tears to have the orchestrator of reality – the one who wrote the symphony of life, and the one I have infringed against; striking the wrong notes of my own will – still prepare me for the grand performance. Still, give me sheet music to read and play. Still, teach me how to play within His ensemble.

This warming love is the joy for which I am pleased. For which He is pleased. I am His people, and He is my God, His heart written on my heart. He performed the greatest sacrifice for me so that I could be with Him again and here I am, simply slowing my time to spend time with Him. It’s all He wishes for.

To understand the world around us we may want to explore the myths others have left us that show their perspectives they left with us to discover. They wrote because they wanted to say something they couldn’t express in any other way.
