Going deeper in the mundane to find the extraordinary.

Welcome to my nexus of threads that weave through reality. Each myth concentrates on an aspect of reality that we all get entangled within. Pick your myth and perhaps you will see it from a different angle, find out its origin, or what virtue it brings.

Myths are not only a widely held but false belief or idea. They are stories with deep meanings and levels of an ocean that constantly flows and churns, carrying truth to the far reaches of God’s creatures.

Death of Love

loss of love
Love was a selfless act no longer,
only sought to gain.
The surface of life to scrape,
Never to risk a stain.

The bride sought to bring sparks,
To ignite the deeper flame.
But he indifference to take,
Held on to surface tame.

The love she feels is only for him, a tool.
How can she get him to see the jewel?

She found comfort. To him, he comes first,
She admires, he just tires.
With marriage she feels complete,
And deepens her commitment with every loving word, the few and far between.
He only toils her as bluster on the streets.

The love she feels is only for him, a tool
How can she get him to see the jewel?

Like tides pulled by the moon,
The bride held upon deeper love.
She remembers the saviour who came as man cannot,
To serve and toil; the fruit to wine.
He came for those of bad lot,
Then died against those he came to dine.

All hope lost, no love to find.
For love to surface gain,
The God above, liberty was blind.

The love she feels is only for him, a tool
How can she get him to see the jewel?

Then bursting forth
Love of this, grave could not hold.
He gave His life for those betrayers,
All to embrace in the final domain.
To make all those sons and daughters heirs.

Like the sky soaring dove,
The King never restrained.
Making life full drip of essence,
Like a lions full mane.
All these remain, faith, hope and love.
The greatest of these is love.

The bride now sees her toil as gain,
Even as he only sees her to tame.
She holds him tight like the moon does the tide,
Soon to have his heart applied
the Lord is my strength

To understand the world around us we may want to explore the myths others have left us that show their perspectives they left with us to discover. They wrote because they wanted to say something they couldn’t express in any other way.
