Going deeper in the mundane to find the extraordinary.

Welcome to my nexus of threads that weave through reality. Each myth concentrates on an aspect of reality that we all get entangled within. Pick your myth and perhaps you will see it from a different angle, find out its origin, or what virtue it brings.

Myths are not only a widely held but false belief or idea. They are stories with deep meanings and levels of an ocean that constantly flows and churns, carrying truth to the far reaches of God’s creatures.

Day and Night

Day and Night
I walk through the vibrant coloured light-engulfed environment,
atoms buzzing and soaring all around me.

I see far with my eyes and mind of wide-angle view,
feeling unlocked to all that could be achieved.

Filling the sun’s rays with all that needs to be done,
can I beat the sun before it pitches it’s tent?

Failing the race the heat leaves and the atoms rest in dense settlement.
My mind closes in and fear brings cold to these mortal bones.

I can no longer do all I wished,
The cold dim colours feel enclosing.

All around me I see peaceful slumbers,
I stand, the only one in darkness.

The cold solitary twilight begins to arm me,
and confidence builds with a sonder mind.

Hidden Meaning

the depth of word, phrases and sentences
The pages we stare into deepens passed the very words on the page, like passing through a glass layer that holds the words and entering into the abyss of their world in which they create. The words, phrases, sentences and paragraphs hold the depths of their meaning in their infinite combinations.

Being sucked into the bowels of the pages where the mind and the words work together to show the vibrant colours, vast environments, elaborate relationships, narrow darknesses, and devastating emotions.

Holding the entirety of the universe between their pages, books are one of the most powerful things in the world, honing language and exploiting imagination; the powers of our minds. Thinking of our heads and the brain within them, we know that is not all that there is.

Another world, like a fourth dimension as a tesseract lies, waiting for our wandering. Within the three dimensions, perhaps there is a fourth like zooming in, disappearing and gaining the ability to travel anywhere. As we read we travel to wherever the author wishes to take us. Our minds capable to keep up in flight.

“Reading poetry”, for example, “allows one to see into the soul of another person, see what is weighing on their minds and on their hearts…” (Kim Barkley. Writer’s Digest). These normal everyday words come together to hold deep and intimate meaning only found if dug through and cared for.

The ground crests and folds like the sea. Soft and rough resembling the life we are guaranteed.
The forest in night, skeleton keys make. Seeking to claw heaven’s vault as we pass the nightscape.
Millions of eyes that glare down from the dome. A cloud of witness survey us in their previous home.
Seeming to show a hidden meaning beyond the veil of this world. Reality convinces of the spectacle of the grained and pearled.

Garden of Eden

Garden of Eden
I have seen the Garden,
That which no child has seen,
Colours shown full and satisfied in.
I passed the tree of life,
The mightiest and splendid.

Allowed to enter by the cherub,
to see the dead tree,
Formerly of contrast but now just a stub.
A shadow as dark as that valley,
burned like Sheol –
Now a different contrast to all it was among.
I spoke to the cherub, asking,
What happened to the tree?
That which brought demise?
It was burned by the teacher,
who taught to be wise.

Those who came before brought death,
Defying the sequence of breath,
but the teacher rid the world of it.
satisfying man’s debt,
Now all may nurse from her breast.

To understand the world around us we may want to explore the myths others have left us that show their perspectives they left with us to discover. They wrote because they wanted to say something they couldn’t express in any other way.
