My Myth
I started with playing video games and using my imagination with my brothers, running around outside and playing with lego in my room. I played sports more than I read books. Once I began to read recreationally, I found a whole new universe to explore. Galaxies and space travel, aliens and magic.
I soon started to write my own worlds, as I saw that the worlds I read about did not have the same aspects that I found longing for in my mind. That began my journey to write my own myths. Through the last decade I had to learn how to write and continue to find new ways to spell out new perspectives and seeking the depth of reality within stories.
I soon found myself with many short stories and new ideas continuously being born. I challenged myself to pick one and finish it, even though I did not know my own definition of “finish.” Even so I continued to build on one of my short stories creating an entire world of my own, which is now its own book of United Sentry, but not yet finished with my new definition evolving as it evolves.

To understand the world around us we may want to explore the myths others have left us that show their perspectives they left with us to discover.
They wrote because they wanted to say something they couldn’t express in any other way.
I wish to look at the inspiring and difficult concepts within life, explore and use them within fictional stories. With this style, I hope to create engaging material that will be fun and epic but also have inspiring and challenging lessons. There are always different perspectives to gain and I do my best to give my perspective so others can see and draw motivation to change in an edifying and uplifting way. Along with the fictional stories I plan to use more direct methods with non-fictional essay-like writing to navigate deeper truths of the Bible and life as we see it. I believe that philosophy is an essential tool and way of life that we need to use to think deeper. I also think it is most effective when paired with theology. Nature itself speaks of God’s great hands involved in this world; we need to see and explore it. Jesus himself used parables to tell his audience what the kingdom of Heaven was like. A parable is a tool to parallel unknown images (Kingdom of Heaven) with known images (farming, etc.), and so I use my stories to align difficult concepts with a clearer depiction.
